Cancer Treatment - Phase II Clinical Trial

Summary of Intermediate Evaluation

The human phase II double blind clinical trial started in Hungary in August of 1995. The purpose of the study was to investigate the therapeutic effects of ingesting water with reduced deuterium content. The subjects of this trial were patients with prostatic tumors. The intermediate evaluation was completed in May of 1997 resulting in a 68% decrease in prostate cancer.

The proportion of patients with improving efficacy was statistically significantly greater in the treated group. The prostatic volume decreased at 5% level of significance in the treated group, while in the control group it was regarded as unchanged. The patients in the treated group had more positive changes in their symptom's, along with a significantly longer survival period.

The uniqueness of this treatment is that it is non-invasive, non-toxic, has no objectionable taste or odor and requires no preparation for administering to patients. During the nearly two years of clinical trials, no serious side-effects were attributed to the deuterium depleted water being studied.

The conclusion, from the results of the clinical trial, is that the deuterium depleted water may be used effectively as a cancer treatment.
