VETERA-DDW-25® A.U.V. - Deuterium Depletion for Veterinary Therapy
The progression of several types of cancer in mice was delayed and their survival prolonged as the result of decreasing the concentration of deuterium below the normal physiological level in their drinking water. This finding was confirmed when dogs and cats with different tumors consumed deuterium depleted water as drinking water. These experiments revealed that the tumors are not able to tolerate the decrease of deuterium concentration and after a relatively short time period (few weeks) they regress and then disappear. The daily dosage is calculated based on the deuterium depleted level desired with the quantity to be consumed based upon the weight of the animal.
Deuterium depleted water based pharmaceutical products can serve as a very effective agent against neoplastic diseases. Both in laboratory experiments and in clinical trials Deuterium Depletion proved to be effective. HYD Ltd. has completed the development and registration of a new veterinary drug, VETERA-DDW-25 A.U.V. for the treatment of household pets with tumors. Among pets (mostly dogs and cats) the average tumor rate is 3-4 %. VETERA-DDW-25 is applicable per os (through mouth). Its main indication is pre- and post treatment of surgical interventions or single treatment in case of non-operable tumors. VETERA-DDW-25 is unique due to its high efficacy and low price, coupled with lack of side effects and the lack of in-home chemotherapeutical treatments.
